Communication has tensions-- talking to a stranger of different gender/ talking about what is uknown/ saying something face to face.
Speech communication is equivalent to oral communication and human communication.
What is communication
-from communis or common/public
-the idea of sharing experiences publicly for the common good (Monroe, Chringer, et al)-- common good (if you have nohing significant to say, then shut up)
